Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We’re lucky to have a lot of ramen spots around the city, and this one’s definitely one of my favorites. The service is always quick, and the food comes out fast. I also love that it’s connected to other restaurants, so after your meal you can grab dessert or a drink like matcha tea or coffee next door. It can get a bit busy on weekends, but the service and food are always great and consistent."
"There were highlights and mediocre moments in terms of the food taste, but I do think that overall this is a very good neighborhood gem to grab a bite on a day that one needs relaxation, especially with a boba shop right next door. I have been here twice, both on impromptu occasions, and both times have confirmed my impression of this spot as a neighborhood gem like I had previously mentioned. Majority of the highlights are with the main dishes like the abura soba, the chicken curry, and the sukiyaki don. They contained sufficient ingredients and good seasoning, and had enough ingredients on the side on the table to add to the dishes. I personally added more chili oil into the abura soba. The sukiyaki don needed a bit more taste in the rice, but the beef was very flavorful. In terms of the small plates, most of them leaned towards mediocre, which meant that they tasted pretty standard, such as the karaage and the kaki fry. For those that crave for them specifically, I definitely think these dishes are worth getting. I just don't think one should get them if they're trying to go for a "best" or even the "better" dishes within the establishment. The only item I was more critical about was the agedashi tofu, which was very soggy and tasted too plain. It didn't seem like a lot of effort was put into it. With all that said, though, I will probably return here because it's very effective at resolving a craving and a quick bite. I am also happy about the fact that it's in Richfield because the community can benefit greatly from it."
"It is taste like Japanese real ramen . I’m so glad I find a place where I can have real ramen . ! It taste good! I got gyoza and ramen and karage. Ramen stock is watery but it’s 97% real Japanese ramen taste ."
"Several reasons why I'm giving 5 stars: The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and the decor is beautiful. The few and simple ingredients make the food delicious, the portions are generous, and the order was ready pretty quickly."
"We ordered Karaage chicken, spicy Tonkatsu and Sukiyaki. Tonkatsu was average, Sukiyaki was great, but the Karaage was the worst. I felt it was a bit undercooked, with almost no flavor. So if you avoid the Karaage, I think you will like the place. Not the best ramen in town, but not bad either."
"I had the vegan dry noodles and it was delicious. My mom had the chicken teriyaki dry noodles and also enjoyed it. Inside has a beautiful design - super clean and modern. Highly recommend. The best noodles I’ve had in Minne."
"Food is amazing. Chicken Karage was so juicy and well fried. Takoyaki was excellent, one of the best I've had. Their Shoyu and Tonkotsu pork ramens are so full of flavor and well rounded. Portions are good. The restaurant interior is so pretty and well-kept. It has a home feeling with all the natural wood with some modern design aesthetic."
"Best gyoza I've ever had, hands down. The fried chicken 9/10. Ramen flavorful and delicious 9/10. I recommend giving this place a try!"
